I'd like to use Firefox to open Mailto links in Windows 8. I found this support article, but it isn't relevant to Windows 8: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/change-program-used-open-email-links?esab=a&as=aaq
When I open Control Panel --> Default Programs, and try to associate Mailto with Firefox, the only options it gives me are 'Mail' (the Metro app I'm trying to ditch) and 'Look for an app in the Store'. No Firefox. How do I get Firefox to appear in the list of apps that can be associated with Mailto? Thanks very much for any help.
