Working off the 2019 Mac Pro (latest OS), and had a few system crashes due to something with After Effects. After a few forced restarts, now Messages won't send videos. Just a little red icon with an exclamation point and 'not delivered' However I can send videos on.
I'm trying to send a message from my mac to an iphone and none of my messages are saying 'delivered' underneath. Its not saying 'not delivered' either by the way.
I just sent a message to my friends iphone who is in my apt to see if the message would go through and it was delivered fine.
Do you know what the cause is? Is it the receivers or do I need to restart my computer? The person i'm trying to message is overseas if that matters.

I would check to make sure the email address or phone number that you're trying to send it to is correct. If all of the contact information is correct, see if the person's iPhone that you're trying to send it to logged into iMessage. If they don't have iMessage turned on, that could also be your problem.

- Why is my Iphone not sending as Imessages and receiving iMessages from one person? I'm texting my wife and we both have iPhone's and she is getting the messages as an iMessage but the ones I'm sending her on my end show up at green. Sometime it will go as blue, get the little red exclamation point then send as regular SMS. I'm texting someone else too and she has an iPhone, and she is getting mine as regular iMessages and mine are sending as regular iMessages. Why aren't they sending to me wife as iMessages?
- Why is my IMessage sending but not delivering? I have an iPhone 4 and I'm trying to text a friend and I text them and it says delivered but then a few seconds later it says not delivered. It is doing it to only this one person and it randomly started doing this. When they text me it comes in as text. How can I fix this? What is wrong?
- IPhone is broken, is there a way to access all of my missed imessages from a Mac? IPhone 5 fell in a pool, so has been drying out in rice the last 36 hours. Is there a way to check my imessages that I haven't been able to receive on a Mac? Or is the only way to recover those to get the phone working again?
- IMessages not working on iPhone? But work on mac air? Ok so i have an iPhone 6 and when people send me imessages or even regular text messages i don't get them until days later. But i do get them on my mac air right when people send them. I have at&t. Is there anyway to fix this? There was a lockdown at my brothers high school and i didn't know about it until i opened my computer 6 hours later! I had to pick him up but i missed the message. What should i do? This happened with my iPhone 4 also.
